The Overview
Regnvik is an AI-native accounting platform for businesses in Spain and the EU. It covers sales, purchases, banking, the ledger and compliance in one workspace, with an AI copilot that does the routine work and a daily briefing that shows what actually needs attention.
The Challenge
Small businesses in Spain run their books across a bank portal, a spreadsheet and an accountant's inbox, then lose days each quarter reconciling it all before the tax deadlines land. Errors surface late, and the person who understands the numbers is rarely the one who has to file them.
The Architecture
An accounting core of ledger, invoicing, banking and tax compliance with an AI layer on top. Transactions are categorised and reconciled in the background, each with a confidence score and a plain-language reason, and a daily briefing surfaces only what needs a human decision. An autonomy setting lets each business choose between suggestions only and auto-posting above a confidence threshold, while Verifactu-ready invoicing, quarterly tax models and e-invoicing sit in the same workspace.
The Result
Closing the books becomes a review rather than a project: routine work happens in the background, and the owner or accountant approves the exceptions with the reasoning in front of them.
Design decisions
- 01
AI proposes, people approve
Every AI action carries a confidence score and a plain-language reason, and sensitive actions wait for approval.
- 02
Autonomy you control
Each business sets how far the AI can act on its own, from suggestions only to auto-posting above a confidence threshold.
- 03
Compliance in the same place
Spanish tax models, Verifactu-ready invoicing and e-invoicing live beside the books, not in a separate tool.
